What does Stanley Kazwell Jr., Malcolm Gladwell, George Soros, Thomas J. Stanley, Steven Covey, and Napolean Hill all have in common? They have books which have been listed as "recommended summer reading" in the Baruch College (CNYU) publication, The Ticker (05/03/09). Emmanuel Onyenyili, editor, said that the
book's inclusion was recommended by prominent UBS executive, Bill Richards. Onyenyili said that the Hedge Fund Relationship Director included Kazwell’s with three others as “some of his favorite new books.”

“The Ticker,” established in 1932, is a weekly publication. It is produced entirely by the efforts of Baruch students with printing as the only exception. Editor Emmanuel Onyenyili is a graduating senior and says he the compiled the “summer reading list” because “I feel an obligation to share the most important insights and lessons I’ve learned.” Sharing his experiences, Onyenyili said it was critical for him to “read books that enhanced my level of knowledge of finance and broadened my vision.” He feels there is too little importance placed on the value of reading.
